Healdsburg is a charming town surrounded by Dry Creek Valley, Alexander Valley & Knights Valley. It once was a quiet little town, with just a couple of casual restaurants and shops around the Plaza, but over the past several years has turned into a chic cool town with new wineries, a variety of great restaurants, nice designer shops, and a fabulous place to spend an afternoon. This town in northern Sonoma County is quite a charming destination. Best to start your morning at the Downtown Bakery with a sticky bun or grab a coffee at Flying Goat or Costeaux French Bakery & Cafe. If you are looking for an amazing lunch or dinner spot, I would highly recommend Campo Fina, Parish Café, Scopa Italian or Willi’s Seafood Bar or a burger and beer at Bear Republic Brewery. There are a handful of good schools in Healdsburg and I would recommend visiting each one to decide which school is a good fit for your children. Also, some children from Healdsburg will go to Sonoma County Day or Sonoma Academy in Santa Rosa. Below are some websites that may be of interest.
